THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!

Morgan Fife makes her debut as director of a Readers Theater version of  "THE DUCK VARIATIONS" by David Mamet on Saturday, April 6th at 7:00 pm. The play dramatizes the old adage that people who talk with the most authority about something are the ones most likely to know the least about it. Two women discuss the ways of ducks, making observations about life that are profoundly hilarious.

The play is traditionally written for two men, but Fife will present a fresh take on the play by casting women in both roles, making no other changes to the text. Alison Campbell will portray George and  Rhea Alper will play Emil in this modern variation of the classic play.

David Mamet is a member of the American Theatre Hall of  Fame and is a Pulitzer Prize and Drama Desk Award winning playwright.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the play begins promptly at 7:00 pm for one hour. The play is meant for mature audiences due to its content.
