AN EVENING WITH "RAMBLIN'" RALPH ESTES
Ramblin’ Ralph, the New Mexico State Chautauqua Troubadour will take us on a trip through several thousand years of the American West, from Anasazi Indians to the atomic age through songs and stories which were accompanied on the autoharp, a native American folk instrument. Saddle up and ride through the cowboy era, meeting characters like Wyatt Earp, Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok, Geronimo Buffalo Bill, and Jesse James. Ralph’s alter ego, the Puebloan Tsi’tsi’ye, will give the Indian perspective on it all.
