Whether you are beginner or experienced artist, you receive encouraging step - by - step – drawing techniques. Get helpful tips on how to light your subject for drawing from a photograph. A power point presentation of student examples supports useful drawing demonstrations with graphite and charcoal. Strengthen your dimensional forms with line and values that can stand as drawing studies or create preliminary studies for watercolors. See how to transfer drawing to watercolor paper. Subjects are provided by the instructor for various levels. Resource list, and print - outs provided.

Santa Fe Artist, Lisa Coddington, MA, has been teaching art for over 18 years for college level classes and workshops. She enjoys organizing inde-pendent art sessions at numerous non-traditional educational locations. Re-cently she taught at Cleveland Botanical Gardens. Her commissioned art ranges from licensing art for the gift industry, to private commissions. Lisa received two educational grants. The first grant supported attending a Mas-ter Botanical Class at Cornell University, and the second grant supported her teaching a botanical art workshop in Grenada, West Indies.
